The main goal of the PremierEvents is to raise awareness for and about the youth.

In 2016, two of the five PremierEvents focus on issues dealing with youth. One of them is on Dec 8. Two one hour long docs and short will feature on autism. The other is on Dec 10. The topic is terror. Two one hour long docs will feature. One is from Israel. The other is from Belgium. They are all heartfelt stories that will move you and make you think.

The purpose of the festival is to create new opportunities.

In a year span, Docu Film expects to have tens of students working on projects. The goal is to have approx. 200 interns a year.  Each must fulfill at least 60 hours of work. Interns complete some of their work during the festival. They help make PremierEvents possible.
